The Latin American Journal of Dysmorphology - LAJD publishes two
issues per year in English and Spanish Languajes for succinct case
reports on the etiology, clinical delineation, genetic mapping, and
molecular embryology of birth defects. In addition it reports original
investigations, subject revisions, articles of reflection, short
communications, dysmorphology images, editorial letters to the
publisher and a very special section denominated Art and Dysmorphology.
This journal covers such topics as multiple congenital anomaly
syndromes with particular emphasis on previously undescribed
conditions, rare findings, ethnic differences in existing syndromes,
fetal abnormalities, art and dysmorphology and cytogenetic aberrations
that might give clues to the localization of developmental genes.
